Shalom Aleichem Chevra, On Rosh Hashana we crown God the King. In our lives we have to do the same thing. In order to become the kings of our own personal kingdoms, we have to take responsibility. This brings us to a seeming contradiction: On one hand we want all that is good in this world. At the same time, we also avoid doing the hard self work it takes to build this kingdom. We have to see the Truth and understand the goal. There is a difference between having a spark of an idea (wanting the good) and making a plan of action to turning that vision into a reality (building your kingdom). At the end of the day it comes down to how much you want it. If you want to initiate change in your life you have to want it so much that you are willing to actually do something about it. Most people get stuck at just wanting the kingdom without pushing forward and laying the foundation which, with consistency, will lead to its completion.
