Hellllooooooo Chevra, This lesson is Part 2 of Rav Moshe Chaim's three-part series: Elevating The Sparks. Is it just me or does it seems like many people lack clarity? People don't know what do do with their lives and how to spend their time, They don't know what to think about current events and the problems facing humanity, And, worst of all, they don't know what they are living for. Do you fall into this category of yearning to "find yourself"? Rabbi Noach Weinburg zt"l, the founder of Aish HaTorah, has advice for just that. He famously said: "A person should think what he would be willing to die for. Then, he should say to himself, 'I want to live for that.'" This is your first step. It starts with you! If you want to change the world you must first change yourself. This can only be done with the certainty of knowing what you are and what you were put into this world to do. It's not easy and nobody ever said it world be. But, with God's help, we will find success and fulfillment and pleasures greater than we can wrap our heads around if we follow the wise words of Rabbi Weinberg zt"l.
