Shalom Aleichem Chevra, welcome to the journey! What if the most precious thing in the king's kingdom wasn't his six sons — but the one daughter everyone overlooked? We're diving into the opening of Rebbe Nachman's story of the Lost Princess, and right from the first lines, the whole way we look at life gets flipped upside down. The king has six sons and one daughter — and we unpack who they really are. The six sons correspond to the six days of the week, the days of action, building, producing, doing. And the daughter? She is Shabas. And the Torah tells us she is more precious to the king than all six sons combined. We talk about what that actually means for how we live. During the six days of the week, Hashem wants us to go out and build and create — that is real and important. But Shabas is something else entirely. It is not a day off, it is a day on. It is the day we stop flexing and start being. It is the day we sit with the awareness that Hashem is running the world whether we lift a finger or not — and that awareness, that emuna, is what is truly precious to the king. And here is the painful truth we sit with: so many of us have never actually met the princess. We grew up with a list of don'ts and we slept through Shabas, or we drank through it, or we spent the whole day thinking about our stocks and our businesses — still hanging out with the six sons in the man cave. The princess was right there asking, do you want to spend time with me? And we missed her. This is the introduction to the Lost Princess — and already, before the princess even leaves the kingdom, we are feeling the pull of teshuva. Where is my focus? Have I ever really shown up for Shabas? That is the question Rebbe Nachman is already planting in us, and we are just getting started. If this is speaking to you, share it with someone who needs to meet the princess — and subscribe so you never miss the next part of the journey. ---------------------------------------------------------- 🔹Join Rabbi Moshe Chaim's Exclusive Content Sign up here 👉 https://www.youtube.com/@ChevraRavMosheChaim/join 🔹Join Rabbi Moshe Chaim's Private Chizzuk Group Sign up here 👉 https://subscribepage.io/join-the-chevra 🔹Visit the Website 👉 https://www.ravmoshechaim.com/ 🔹Newsletter 👉 https://ravmoshechaimchevra.substack.com/ 🔹Discover Beautiful Sacred Art 👉 https://bit.ly/chevra-art 🔹Join us in Yeshiva - in Jerusalem!
